The Diamond Award may be granted to any lady or any non-Masonic individual for rendering outstanding and faithful service to any branch of Freemasonry. A nomination must be formally proposed by a York Rite College and approved by the Grand Governor of the State or Province. There is no restriction on the number of Diamond Awards that may be granted each year by a Constituent York Rite College.
